Raising Baby Finches

My Finch has hatched an egg. The mother bird doesn't seem to be feeding it. The baby is moving. I don't know what to do?

Just leave the baby alone and she should start to feed it. If not, there's nothing you can do, really. It would take hours to explain. In the future if you want to raise finches you can get a pair of society finches. They are very good with raising other finches' babies and sitting on their eggs too. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you. (10/20/2009)

My finche laid 13 eggs, 5 have hatched so far. All are doing well. We got 8 more to go, is there anything I can put out for Mom or Dad to feed the babies?
