Refrigerator Iced TeaThis is so easy and economical to make that you will find you will always want to have a pitcher of this refreshing drink.

Total Time: 1 minute prep. Overnight refrigeration

Yield: Half gallon pitcher

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Fill the half gallon pitcher with water.
  2. Submerge 4 tea bags in the water. You can use any kind of tea. I used Lipton apple and cinnamon, and it was delicious.
  3. Refrigerator Iced Tea

  4. Refrigerate overnight. You can sweeten at this point, but I like to have unsweetened tea, and let everyone sweeten to his/her own taste. Remove the teabags. I compost mine.
  5. Refrigerator Iced Tea

  6. Note: This can be halved or doubled, depending on the size of your pitcher.

I do this all the time! I mix my sugar in with water before adding my tea bags. I've found that 3 tea bags per gallon gives me same flavor as 4, and I've shrunk my sugar to 1/4 cup per gallon.
