Remembering Passwords

I love to crochet, craft, sew, read news daily, and look for new recipes and while I do have a password saving program, it does not always work! Or perhaps I am techno-tarded, either way depending on my 60 year old memory proves not successful. I bought a little address book at the dollar store and keep all of them in there under the site name. When I change one I line it out add the new one plus a date. There is just too much to remember these days why waste brain space on passwords. You can hide the book or whatever for additional safety as well!

Give Roboforms a try. I use it to keep up with the hundreds of passwords I have. You can try it free and use 10 passwords in there. for more you do have to pay for the program but, it's worth it.

For trial the one here will work, once you buy it, you can chose Desktop version if you only have one computer, or the Everywhere version if you want those passwords available on your cell phone, tablet or whatever.

It saves the passwwords and, the log in page of the site so, all you have to do is choose the site you want from the list and click - it takes you there and, logs you in. You can protect it all with one master password so others cannot log in to your accounts on your devices, so you only need to remember ONE password, Roboforms remembers all the rest and, can even generate passwords for you, save you name, address and all so you can click to fill forms and don't have to type so much too, if you want.

I started an Excel document and placed it on my desktop. I named it "Keep_up." One sheet has my financial obligations with user names, due dates, passwords, amounts owed, etc. Another contains frequently-used phone numbers and addresses. Another lists every other entity requiring a username and password.

You can create pages for anything in the document that you need to have handy. It only takes a minute to update information, and the file is at my fingertips. It also only takes a minute to print any of the pages, should I need a hard copy.

You could set up the document to require a password, but I don't since opening my computer requires a password anyway.
