Spray bottle with 1 part hydrogen peroxide, 1 part water, 2-3 drops Dawn dish detergent (can omit if necessary to prevent suds if using on a memory foam) and 2 tsp. baking soda. Shake well in the bottle. Use immediately and let soak in for a few minutes for surface cleaning. Scrub a little to remove the fresh stain, blot as dry as possible.

Use a hair dryer on the mattress, use a fan on memory foam, making sure that all are completely dry before remaking the bed.

My daughter has 3 sons, a cream colored couch and removes not only blood, but vomit, Koolaid spills, etc. If using on a colored item, test for colorfast as peroxide will lighten. As she had a large puke stain to clean, she ended up doing the whole couch as the cleaner really cleaned the spot, making a noticeable difference. LOL, a lot of work but her couch turned out looking brand new again.
