Removing Hair Dye on Painted Wall?

I recently dyed my hair a reddish purple and accidentally have a few small stains on the wall. My mother wasn't too pleased with this. I used alcohol wipes, but it took paint off. Help!

Put a product like Biz or Kilz on the spots and repaint

It depends on the paint wall and seal/color you have. But you can try wiping with damp mild dish soapy water.

Ok, So I am having bathroom remodeled and planning on having walls with backspash installed so i don't have to worry about stains on painted walls anymore and decided to try some of the ideas on removing hair dye from painted walls. Here is a few things I tried on white walls without scrubbing on stains over a year old. Nail polish remover removed stain and the top coat of paint showing the yellow paint from 10 years ago, before I painted wall white with 2 coats of semi gloss paint. Mr. Clean removed the stain only, but if you ever try this on your arm, you will find it removes skin, so I think there is a mild abrasive in the Mr.

Clean and will eventually remove the top coat of paint. Lastly I tried bleach with a Q-tip and let it sit. With light swirling motion the bleach removed the stain. I think bleach is the#1 way to go, but Mr. Clean Magic Erasers did work with no indication that it was removing the top coat of paint. My other thing that I started doing was spraying walls down with Scrubbing Bubbles right after mixing hair dye and wipe off shortly after finished applying dye.

Okay, I was hesitant... but I tried it.
THE BLEACH TRICK WORKS WONDERS! I took an old measuring cup, dipped a cotton ball in there, and wiped the dye, came off in seconds! Before that I tried the Nail Polish Remover trick, took off some of my paint.

Will stick to bleached cotton balls from now on (and try to be a little more cautious of where and when I swing my head!)!
