Removing Latex Paint from Hard Surfaces

I found a Little Tykes bookcase at the curb. It was pretty dirty, but cleaned up beautifully. However, there was latex paint that wouldn't come off, even with hard scrubbing. I then remembered a trick my dad taught me. Take the edge of an old credit card or something similar and butt it against the edge and push. The paint popped right off!
