Removing Oil Pastel, Crayon and Pencil Writing on Wall

When there's kids at home, always expect a mess. Children, especially toddlers love to draw anywhere and mostly on walls. The worst thing is, they draw with different coloring materials such as wax crayons. I was pretty worried seeing my apartment walls full of crayon and oil pastel drawings. Good thing I discovered this very effective way of cleaning this kind of mess.

I just don't know if they work on wooden walls but it works well with concrete.

I have here a kiddie toothpaste which we never used, it's stored in the fridge for a long time and nobody's using it. What made me think of trying to use this remedy is that toothpaste usually is a good cleaning agent for other materials such as jewelries, stained shoes, etc. So I tried using it in my wall.

All you need is an old toothbrush or some rough dish scrub, toothpaste, a wet towel, and a dry one.

Apply toothpaste on your scrubbing material. Then, gently scrub the walls until the colors are gone. So far, it's the fastest and most effective way of cleaning I could recommend. No need for strong cleaners. Just wipe it with clean wet towel then followed by a dry towel, then it's done.
