**IF** the garment care label indicates that it can be machine-dried, you might try using you hair dryer to apply heat. Focus on one corner and peel gently to start. It would be a shame to melt the fabric, so please be careful! Also, depending on the size of the sticker, you might try sewing or ironing a decorative (or all white) patch over the current one; they have these at Joann's and online stores. (Again, be watchful on the heat factor.) Good luck, and thank you for not "buying new"!

I believe this type of label is attached in such a way that it is not removable without damaging the fabric.
You will have to find an applique that is larger than the label (without holes) and sew it over the the label.

These are not easy to find but you can check some of your craft stores and any large sewing stores.
I have been successful in taking the garment to one of the quilting/sewing group stores but if not one in your area you can try the stores that specialize in selling sewing machines. There is usually a Singer store in most cities. They can make something large enough to cover the label (they charge different prices so check first) and sew in on yourself or let them sew it on (for a price).
You might try Google with 'sewing groups and your zip code.
Google for craft stores in your zip also as this will be the less expensive way to go.

I dont think you can get it off. Try getting some embroidered patch to sew over it.

Chance of removal will depend on how it is attached to the jacket. Was it sewn on, glued on, heat-set on? What is the patch made of...cloth, rubberized or coated fabric?

It all depends. Let us know more and we will be of better help. Good luck.
