Try a glue called E6000. It works great on all kinds of materials....even glass to glass. Good luck.

I didn't know anything would hold glass to glass I have a really pretty glass tail that came off a glass fish, have been holding on to it for about 5 yrs now I can fix it. Thanks

I have this gel it's a super glue I believe! Didn't know it was that strong.I have about 4 mugs with broken handles,will try this one.
Gorilla Glue would be fine for this kind of a job.
You are asking about repairing a mug that you will be using for coffee/tea and maybe dishwasher and microwave - correct?
I'm not sure about any of the products mentioned but you should be sure the glue you use is food safe, will hold up in water and withstand heat.

I know you are repairing a broken cup handle that will not touch food but if you use a glue that is food safe then it will also be waterproof and can be heated - mainly dishwasher safe while many other glues will fall apart in water and/or heat.
This is also to remind anyone gluing plates, bowls, platters, or any type of item that any kind of food will touch that any glue used should be FDA approved to be safe for food.
