Repairing the AC in a 1998 Ford Ranger?

All that comes out of my ventilation system is hot air. If I switch to max AC I get cool air. I replaced the blend air actuator with no change. Where should I look next?

I would check the compressor if I were you.

The compressor is working and fully charged with Freon.
