Repurposing a Free Card Table I found a round card table at the local donation station where I live. I then purchased a .50 round table cloth.

It is now where I work on my jewelry. I hope this inspires others to take an ugly duckling and turn it into a swan.

Total Time: 1 Hour

Yield: 1

Supplies:

1 free or cheap table. ($0.00)
1 round plastic table cloth ($.50)
1 Stick hot glue gun and sticks ($.10)
the items you made the table for

Steps:

With the table cloth and table upside down, trim just enough from around the edge to fold under.
With your hot glue gun, spread some on the underside of the support rim.
BE CAREFUL! Hot glue guns can burn you!
Once the trimmed cloth is secure, turn over and fill.
NOTE: If you have two cake pans that don't have the little metal blade that releases the cake in it, put marbles in one and set the other on top. You will have a temporary lazy susan for any craft you want to use at ease.

I too had found a square card table that had a small hole in the center. I got a sheet of scrap plywood I had and cut to fit, covered it all with a 50 cent vinyl table cloth now have a great table to do my cutting of quilt fabric patterns.
