Are your kids looking for an activity to keep them cool on a hot summer day, but you don't want to take them to the busy pool? Simply, reuse a couple of bottles with a small hole in the lid. Ketchup bottles and some salad dressing bottles work great!
Make sure to wash them completely with soap and water, rinse well, fill with fresh water, and have fun squirting at one another outside. They are easy to fill since you can unscrew the lid to have a large opening, and they can shoot out quite far when full. You can even create targets outside to try to hit with the water bottle!
When done, take the lid off, rinse, and tilt upside down on a towel to dry completely to be stored for the next use. Cool and fun!
