Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Melt butter in large soup pot.
  2. Saute leeks, mushrooms, and carrots in butter for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in broth, dill weed, salt, pepper, and bay leaf. Add potatoes. Cook until tender (about 20 minutes).
  4. Add half and half and cook another 20 minutes until thickened.
