Small Spatula to Get Every Bit of Lotion

I recently found this little spatula that gets in almost any lotion bottle you can think of. Check the link if you want to buy it. This will get all of the lotion out of the bottle.

Before I found that little spatula, I used to turn the lotion bottle upside down and let it stay so for 24 hours. And then use a knife to cut the bottle, facing upside down, in half to scoop out the generous amount of lotion collected in the neck of the bottle. If people think this is meanly frugal, think again. The lotion that collects in the neck of the bottle lasts for almost a week or at least 3 days depending on the amount of lotion. It is akin to throwing away a few dollar bills in the trash can!

Good idea, but...$13.00 for a penny's worth of molded silicone and/or nylon? That would be 'akin to throwing away a few dollar bills in the trash can!' I think I could find a nice equivalent at a dollar store.

But that is BPA-free. Good luck finding such a piece at the Dollar store. And moreover, it is not something that is disposable but something that is gonna last for ever.

If you want a cheaper one, try the one by Norpro which is only about $6. But the spatula end is slightly bigger than that which I mentioned.

Thankswill look for the tiny spatula. Ive used a q-tip so far. As others mentioned, I always store tubes & bottles upside down then later cut them in half to retrieve the lotion that is left. Do this for anticeptic/medicine tubes. Those usually have metal on both ends so absolutely need to cut them open.

One more hint: so frustratingsome pumps on lotion bottles just dont work, so I save pump jars from empty products (washed out of course) & pour product into a pump that works.
