My dog has been in the dog pound for 2 months and has come back stinking of urine and is very thin. How can I get rid of the smell?

You could give him a bath or take him to a dog groomer. Don't forget his breath-they make dog treats to freshen their breath. Make sure the dog did not get a yeast infection while there, as that really smells bad. If he did, that will need to be treated.
Ask the vet for a good deodorizing soap that won't irritate his skin.
