I've always been intrigued by the beauty of spiderwebs. I don't find them creepy or gross, but if you do, Halloween is a good time to have them around! This necklace is super easy to make. I made mine cover my entire neck to wear with a long black dress. You can adjust the vertical measurements to make yours shorter, if desired.
Total Time: 90 minutes
Yield: 1 necklace
hot glue gun with glue
clear paint or clear nail polish
Measure your neck where you want the necklace to sit. Subtract 1 inch from the measurement, then mark that length on your parchment paper.
Measure your neck area vertically to see how long you'd like your necklace to be, then draw that measurement on the parchment paper. My total measurements on paper were 11 inches across and 4 inches down for my full neck covering necklace.
Draw 2 circles on the insides of the horizontal markings, then connect them with a horizontal line.
Draw a line going down the middle to connect to the bottom, then draw a couple lines raying outwards on each side.
Connect each ray with a wide upside down U shape.
Draw more of the Us going upwards.
Carefully trace the entire design with hot glue. This will take about 4 mini sticks of glue.
Hot glue dries very fast. Peel the necklace off the parchment paper. Cover with clear paint, then sprinkle with glitter.
Allow to dry a couple hours. Shake off excess glitter.
Attach a piece of ribbon to each end hoop.
Tie it around your neck.
