When St Paddy's Day is over you can, of course, still make the lime bars or you can easily switch out the limes for lemons and have lemon bars instead. ;-)

Ingredients:

Crust: Filling: Glaze:

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine crust ingredients in a large bowl and beat at medium speed until mixture is fairly finely crumbled.

Press mixture into bottom of ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish and bake until edges are very lightly browned, about 18 to 22 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the first five filling ingredients in the large bowl, beat at medium speed until well mixed, and reduce speed to low; add the filling flour and baking powder and beat until well mixed.

Pour the filling over the hot partially baked crust and continue baking until the top is golden brown, about 22 to 25 minutes and let cool completely.

Combine the first three glaze ingredients in a small bowl, beat at low speed, gradually adding lime juice and scraping bowl often. Drizzle over the cooled crust and filling and cut into bars.
