We use the empty coffee containers, without the lid, to store our used grounds from the coffee maker each morning. When yard clippings and leaves begin to build up, the grounds (and paper filters) are mixed in. In a week or two of turning, we have a nice mound of soil.

I'm sorry, but just how do you get compost after only one week of turning? Any gardening site will tell you it takes months of decomposing for leaves, grass, grounds and such to turn into good soil. Just don't want anyone frustrated when they expect soil after only a couple of weeks.
I have been saving grounds for the garden, but did not know you could put in th filters too. Thanks
