Sweet and Spicy Salmonon bed of rice with lettuceThis salmon is baked in the oven and served with a delicious sauce made with chili, honey, soy, ginger, and garlic. I love it on top a bed of warm rice.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F. Sprinkle salmon with some salt and pepper. Lay on a lightly greased baking sheet. Full baking time will be 15 to 20 minutes.

  3. While the fish starts cooking, in a saucepan, stir together soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Bring just to a boil.

  5. Switch heat to low then add chili and honey.

  7. When fish hits about the 10 minute mark of cooking, remove from oven and spoon over 1/3 of the sauce. Return sauce to low heat, stirring often, until sauce thickens.
