Taking Advantage of City Services

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 267 Posts

Be sure to watch for your own area's programs. Aside from rebates and promotions from municipal services, you might also be eligible for free Parks and Rec classes, public events, celebrations and more. Here, there is a free lunch and concert every week in the summer, and outdoor movies in the plaza. The library offers free summer programs and passes for local museums and other attractions.

Most cities or counties send out quarterly newsletters and also update information on websites or via email. I glance through my newsletter and mark events on the calendar so I remember them later.
