Top Half of Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Not Cold?

I have a 19 year old Kenmore side by side refrigerator model #106.50559001. The top half on both sides will not get cold.

Yet the bottom half on both sides does get cold in the fridge and it is freezing in the freezer. Very strange. Anyone have a solution for this?

Go to Kenmore.com for trouble shooting issues. Also YouTube.com has how to video's on repair and troubleshooting. Be sure to enter model #106.50559001!

Thanks Ana, I did look on YouTube and found out how to change the evaporator fan and it worked. Thanks again! :)

This sounds like a problem with the evaporator fan on the unit. At times they can get iced up which will cause this issue. You may need to pull the unit out from the wall and check the evaporator fan and give the back of the unit a good cleaning.

Thanks poehere, I took off that panel and it turned out to be the evaporator fan. I ordered one from amazon and I got it yesterday, installed it last night and today both sides are working great!
