Turkey Pumpkin - hand holding a small turkey pumpkinDon't store your Halloween pumpkins away just yet! You can use them as decorations for Thanksgiving. Transform your pumpkin into a turkey with some construction paper, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes.

Supplies:

Turkey Pumpkin - supplies
 

Steps:

  1. Using construction paper (red, orange, brown) cut out turkey features.
  2. Turkey Pumpkin - construction paper feathers, waddle, head etc.
     
  3. Using a brown pipe cleaner, cut to fit around the turkey's head.
  4. Turkey Pumpkin - cut pipecleaner to fit around the head
     
  5. Glue on turkey features and eyes.
  6. Turkey Pumpkin - glue on features and eyes
     
  7. Cut yellow and red pipe cleaners and tape on the back.
  8. Turkey Pumpkin - cut and glue short pieces of red and yellow pipecleaners onto the back of the head

  9. Tape the turkey's head and feet onto your pumpkin.
  10. Turkey Pumpkin - tape the head and feet onto the pumpkin
     
  11. For finishing touches, tape on some leaves to resemble feathers. Now youare ready to display your turkey pumpkin!
  12. Turkey Pumpkin - tape on leaves for tail feathers
