I get so frustrated when my curly wild hair breaks my hair clips. They get stuck or snap closed too hard and their teeth break off. Instead of throwing the hair clip away, I reuse them as chip clips. An added benefit is the hair clips are usually super cute, so my snack bags look pretty fancy!

I use these kinds claw clips every single day in my hair, because they work for my long hair too, and there's nothing that works as well to hold hair clipped up or back. And they get broken all the time, either by flipping out of my fingers and they hit the floor and the teeth break off always. I use the broken ones to clip paper notes to my hanging calendar, haha so I love how we've got uses even for our broken teeth hair clips! :)

When one goes flipping out of my fingers now, I'll forever think of how you too experiencing the same thing. And oh yes, I'll pick one up off the floor after it's sprung out of my fingers, look at it, and 2-3 teeth are gone, and it's like oh nooo, it happened again.
These clips have become like a main staple would be, always needing to pick up a pack of them so I have at least one clip with all the teethies in them.
Yes, light weight unbendable metal sure would be great wouldn't it. :)
