Use Old Catalogs or Magazine for Craft Gluing

If you are doing scrapbooking or crafts with glue, you always need something to protect the tabletop. When applying glue right up to the edges you will need to get a new surface for every object (i.e. preparing letters to glue on scrapbooking items) to avoid getting glue where you don't want it.

I found an old magazine or catalog works great for this. I can turn a new page for every piece I am gluing, then throw it in the recycling bin when done!
