Use Oven Cleaner to Clean Burner Drip Pans

This method means less elbow grease and better results when your drip pans are so disgusting you are about to throw them away.

  1. Remove drip pans from stove.

  2. Rinse and dry drip pans to remove loose burned particles.

  3. Lay down some newspaper or old cardboard on your kitchen floor (or outside.)

  4. Place drip pans on newspaper or cardboard.

  5. Coat drip pans in oven cleaner.

  6. Leave drip pans for two hours (during this time - take care of other household tasks or catch up on your favorite TV series!)

  7. Wipe (with a cloth or sponge dedicated to oven cleaning) the drip pans and rinse.

Your drip pans will look as good as possible. If beyond repair at this point, time to invest in new ones and perhaps try a preventative measure like covering in foil.
