Using Frozen Cabbage?

I went to get my cabbage out of the fridge and it's frozen! I'm making pan fried cabbage and noodles. Will this still cook up? I don't care if it soaks up the butter, just want to be able to use it.

I hope if you tried this it was at least edible but usually any frozen vegetable is best used in soups and stews due to the high water content.
Frozen vegetables are always 'soft' when cooked so even when using in soups or stews these should be added just a few minutes before your dish is done.

Actually, once it thawed, the only part still pretty frozen or looking bad was the core (and this was a big head of cabbage), which I decided not to use. The longer I cooked it, the better it was. Thank you for your suggestion.

Unfortunately this will make the dish mushy and soft. Frying would be hard because of the water that has build up from being frozen. Also a little danger with water and oil frying! Be careful!
