Hair dye, unmixed, has a shelf life of a year. Once you mix it with developer, you must throw away the mixture. You cannot even use it one day later.

what does unmixed mean? like mixed with peroxides or generally mixed with anything. if you mix colorant and developer is it still good after a few months or should you throw it

Why can't you use it even why can't you use it after you've mixed it with the developer what will it do to your hair
