I have a full set of 16 volumes of Collier's Encyclopedias copyright 1992. It is still in new condition. What are they worth?

I am so sorry to have to tell you BUT I doubt if your set of Encyclopedias are of any value money wise. They are so out-date that a lot of the information is of no help today.
Most high school kids and college students get their information on the internet and also go to the library to look any thing up.
Have you considered donating them to a local thrift shop, you will find most will give you a receipt that you can then write off on your tax form.
Even though they are complete, they are only 25 years old. To have value, it needs to be 100 years old or older.
Many people who have older sets of encyclopedias feel they have some sort of value. The information contained in these books is outdated and has been revised over the last 25 years.
Collectors are only interested in a set of encyclopedias that are 100+ years old. The older the book the more valuable the set can be depending on the condition of the books.
All schools, libraries, and donation centers won't accept these book any longer. They have way too many of them and they are forced to send them to a paper recycle center.
Your only hope in selling these books is on Craig's list and you'll only be able to ask around $25 to $30 for the set. There's no need to list them on eBay because the shipping cost will deter a person from buying them from you.
They have no value.People have too much technology today they do not want them.
