Collier's Encyclopedia was first published in 19501951 in the United States by Crowell, Collier, and Macmillan (all volumes published by 1951). Collier's Encyclopedia was continuously revised.

Unless encyclopedias are at least 100 years old, they aren't worth much. A lot of people don't want them anymore b/c they take up a lot of room and people also use the internet so much now for research.
Perhaps someone knows what you are describing, but I do not.

What edition is the set?
Normally one of these years would have a complete set of books.
Checking the years it seems that most years have 20 books to the set.
Please explain what you have and post a picture so we can see the type of cover/binding you have as well as the condition.
There is very little demand for encyclopedias, since people get their information online. The exceptions are antique editions (over 100 years old) and signed editions.
