Value of Conant Ball Table?

A wooden table that is deconstructed.I am down sizing and I am selling my 5 foot long Conant Ball table. It expands to 9 foot 10 inches. There are no chair or table leaves. I love my table but can't take it with me. How do I determine a fair asking price?

I have seen people ask 2,000-2,500 for tables identical to yours. Much more if you have matching chairs. That said, I have not seen one sell so value is not confirmed... value is confirmed with some prices. If you want the best chance to get the most for it. If you have a real auction house, the can get it in front of more eyes than an every day seller.

If you try on your own, start high and take best offer. Furniture values are regional so best offer will be what your market supports. Post back how your sale goes! Thanks for sharing!

Antique prices vary widely by region, state, even by city. I've had antique Amish do horribly in one area and sell immediately once I'd moved. That being said, Conant Ball may not sell as well in the area where Conant Ball originated due to saturation of market (Massachusetts), but might sell extremely well in the Midwest. Ive seen your type table go anywhere from $850 to $2000, though leaf and chairs enhance value immensely.

Conant Ball has retained its value. Tables are at least $1500. I would start at $2000 and lower the price gradually if it doesnt sell immediately.

This is probably a good time to sell nice used furniture as buyers are having to wait for several months to receive ordered furniture.
However, most buyers who are in the market for a nice table usually want one in better condition and it's unusual to sell a table without the leaves as it is not really expandable without the leaves.

Your table has bamboo-style legs and it looks very similar to this table:
www.1stdibs.com/.../

It does appear this table is in very good condition and has the table leaves. The listing states it is a Russell Wright design but they do not show a picture of the brand mark.
Your brand mark does not appear to be by Russell Wright as all of his designs were said to be marked with his brand as well as Conant Ball.
Your location will probably determine your value as it is costly to ship items like this. The condition will probably turn off any high money people so my estimate would most likely be under $700.
I really believe it will be difficult to reach that high, but, please understand, these are my personal opinions.
I would start it higher and lower the price if necessary.
Sites that offer local listings would be the best places to list your table.

I think you have the same model of Conant Ball table
www.chairish.com/.../large-russel-wright-for-conant-ball...
"This Classic table comes with three large (13.25" - W) leaves. Open with leaves 102" - L. Faux bamboo turned legs, center leg for additional support. Suitable for use as a dining table, conference table or work surface."

Since your table has no leaves then the price is much lower.

A famous American Industrial furniture designer Russel Wright designed many of Conant Ball Furniture products. Authentic Conant Ball Furniture Company items which were designed by Wright typically have the words "American Modern Built by Conant-Ball Co." or "Designed by Russel Wright." Conant Ball furniture items which were designed by Russel Wright are considered to be rare, but not necessarily the most valuable.

Your table dates ca 1950s.
I found a Conant Ball Russel Wright Mid Century Modern Dining Table with 3 Leaves, which looks similar to your table

(on the site you can find out the sold price)
But the final value depends on geographic location of the sale.

Use nearest CraigsList.com, nextdoor.com, Facebook.com, or Facebook Marketplace where you can list your item for free.
Be sure to specify local pick up only. That way the buyer would be responsible for obtaining his own insurance and transport.
