Contact replacements.com. They will give you the value. They will offer to buy it from you. They will give you a lower offer than if you sold it yourself.

When my grandmother died, she had hundreds of teacups and saucers that had been collected over the years. She swore they were worth thousands of dollars and, when she died, they were to come to us.

After searching for a long time for the value of them, we came to realize they were not worth what she had said. We ended up selling most of them off for $5 to $10 a set.

The top ones are selling (don't see any sold) on eBay for 4/10.00:

www.ebay.com/.../143438741874?hash=item21659d8172...

You will want to watch this auction to see if that is indeed today's value.

I need to do some further research on the other pattern.

Best to see these in a local venue. Shipping is going to be costly and lately things have been arriving broken--so if you do a consignment or local sale you won't have to fuss with shipping!

Will look at the other pattern soon!

So the next one, the Royal Crown Derby is selling (SOLD PRICE) for $45 for 1 cup/saucer. That is pretty amazing to me as most china I have researched lately has very little value--but this pattern seems to be still quite valuable. This is the sold auction:

If you want to maximize your profits on your sale, it is critical to research each set (I didn't see at first you have multiple sets, I thought you just had 2).

This step is important so you know today's market value on your pieces (which = sold prices) and so you don't under cut yourself or try to get too much for something that has no value and you waste a lot of time).

To research, type what is on the back the piece into eBay's search engine. Match your piece to what is SOLD (select the sold button) and that gives you today's market value for the item--like I share above.

My guess is some will have value like the Royal Crown pieces and some will not, like the pretty blue and white set.

If you are not an experienced seller, I suggest having an estate sale company or a consignment store sell them for you so you get the maximum value for your items. You will get a percentage of the sale--basically paying them for the hassle of selling it for you.

If you are an experienced eBay is the best place to sell using the sold values described above as a guide for pricing. When you ship be use to use the box in box technique where each piece is wrapped in bubble wrap, then cardboard, then boxed. None of the inside boxes can touch (use packing peanuts between them). Be sure to pack your items BEFORE LISTING (DON'T SEAL JUST WRAP) so you know the weight and size of the box to put into eBay's shipping tool.

Best wishes on yours sales!! Post back with updates!
