On eBay they are selling a large number of these figurines and the prices are everywhere on them. I see some of the same exact figures - not yours - where one person is asking $45 and another one is asking for the same item $600. It appears that most people are trying to sell them off at a more reasonable price around $30 to $60. I did go to an auction site that had sold items to see if I could check to see if yours was there, it wasn't. I was curious of how much it sold for. You can go there and check on other items sold to give you an idea about how much people are willing to pay for these figurines. www.liveauctioneers.com/.../

this is a adorable piece, and out of all the angels from this brand, this one seems to be the rarest on the market. If you stage it well ,and place it on auction/bid sale. You may get a fair dollar amount (upper $100's).

I am surprised with as much information as is found with this piece that like you, I can't find it online.

When this happens, I blame the flippers who list things and have no knowledge of what they are selling and that finding an exact match would require looking through thousands of Armani cherubs to find it.

GA figureines are all over the board in value and have been for years. There are a few that still have high value and some that you can't give away at yard sales for a dollar.

When I find one like this my best suggestion is to figure out what you want to get for it, put it on eBay as a 7 day auction starting at that price and let the market dictate the value for the piece.

Put all the info you have--the full name, the number, that it is a figurine, cherub, child, angel sitting.

You may have to play around with the starting price--like if you start it at 100, you may not get that and will have to drop it.

I hesitate to call things rare because there is very little rare any more, but that this is not found is a tad unusual. I do attribute that to there being so many out there and people having no clue when they list it for sale what they have.

A few years ago I had started down a path to learn about GA frauds/homage pieces but I didn't get far as there is sometimes confusion about fraud/homage pieces and pieces that came from trickle down markets--like that were either specially made for a group or club or were made for one country and not another or were made for a discount store and not a big box store.

The world of GA and Capodimente is very murky so I stopped trying to figure it out and moved to a strategy of if I can't find it, I send it to the universe with a hope that the universe will tell me the value--vs. me trying to figure it out.

I hope that helps you. Truly things are only worth what people will pay...so send it out there and see what happens. Post back with an update! Thanks for sharing!

Giuseppe Armani was an artist who died in 2006, and in the 70s in particular was associated with a famous Florence school of sculpture. His expressive figures and thematics are prized worldwide. He experimented with different sorts of finishes to create vastly different effects for the same pieces. More on him can be found here giuseppearmani.org/

Your piece would be worth more if, as in many such cases, you had the original box and certificate of authenticity.

You do not state the size but it appears to be one of the 6-7 inch figurines.
You actually know more about this piece than a lot of sellers know about the items they put up for sale.
1.) Giuseppe Armani Figurine - does not appear to have another artist/designer name (such as CAPO DI MONTE/CAPODIMONTE).
This can be good or not as some artist are very popular.
2.) The name of item is 'Happiness'.
3.) Date made - 2003
4.) Yours does not appear to be signed.

I looked through several pages of items listed for sale on Etsy and although the prices are up and down on the same items I did not see even one single sold item (Etsy usually places 'sold' on listings for 30 days after a sale) so that does not appear to be a good sign for trying to sell these right now.

As to where to list when you are ready to sell; Etsy and eBay have certain rules for sellers to follow and they usually enforce them which means these sites may be more difficult for newer sellers to use.

I would suggest listing on local venues like Craigslist, Letgo, Offerup, Facebook Marketplace or any others that you see online.
The reason I suggest these sites is because you can lit your item on every one of the sites and if it sells just remove it from the other sites.
eBay frowns on this (against their rules) and will sometimes remove the item from their site if they become aware you are also using other sites.

No matter where you list you will need several very good pictures (look at other listings to see what type of pictures show up best). You will also need to post as much information as you can find about this item.

Reread everything that Pghgirl posted as she has good suggestions about how to list your figurine.
Starting price is up to you and if you are not in a hurry to sell, just leave it posted for a few months until financial dealings settle down and people start buying things again.
