I want to start a family tree and it all seems just too much and overwhelming. I'm sure there are plenty of good apps I haven't come across yet. Any helpful tips? Thank you!

My family and I used Ancestry. They helped us to understand how it works, and they also can dig deeper into history for info that family have lost along the way. It was so much fun for us, sharing the new and old found history that escaped us through the years, giving my family a true complete family tree. They currently have a special that ends on 03/17/2022. If not ready, they often have sales. They are good and have the largest following- https://www.ancestry.com
I have been 'wanting' to do this for years but everything seemed way above my 'beginner' stage and I certainly did not want to pay big money for something that was not 'user friendly'.
