What Kind of Bug Is This?

What Kind of Bug Is This? What kind of bug is this? I found a couple on the wall next to window, one on my bed, and one crawling on my hand. Can someone suggest to me what is this and whether this is harmful and what precautions to take?

This looks a lot like a termite. Are you seeing piles of wood or shavings around you home that are not explained?

I would take it to the hardware store if you have one opened and have them check. If that is what you have, people will tell you homemade remedies work. I do not beleive them and sadly this is one place where me (who is totally anti chemical), calls in the experts. These can do a lot of damage to homes and proerpty and treatment is best left to the pros. Be sure to find someone reputable and see if they offer discounts if you are a senior or student.

Based on what I have found this looks like a dust bug, I dont see any piles of wood like how I have seen in the pics for termite. But please do let me know if anyone knows exactly what this is.

This looks like a dust mite or what some call dust bugs. They sort of look like termines at first but if you can blow them up large enough you will see they are a dust bug.

They can be found in window cells, on beds, and even crawling on you. Some think they are bed bugs because they almost have the same shape and size.

This looks like this insect is from the Termite family. There are about 45 different kinds of species of termites in the U S. Here is some info - en.wikipedia.org/.../termite

The pictures are just too far from the insect to be able to really see it and blowing it up does no good as it blurs.
You need to get closer to the subject and send the pictures to your county extension service as they will be more familiar with what is in your area at this time of year.

I do not believe it is dust mites as I think they are too small to see with the naked eye.
