What Kind of Husky Mix?

A husky in the snow.Hi everybody, I'd appreciate it if someone can tell me if my dog is a mix. I was told she's pure, but she doesn't look it. She's 7 months. I love her nevertheless, I'm just curious. Thanks.

I think it is a purebred. You can always have a DNA test done to be sure

You have a beautiful dog.
What is the reason you are questioning her breed? Exactly what breed of Husky did 'someone' tell you she was?

Reasons why you do not think she looks like a Husky?

A mixed breed is always a possibility if you did not buy from a registered breeder and did not receive signed papers stating her full breeding.
A dog can have a different mix of colors and still be a white Husky as a true white Husky is more rare and not even a breeder can be sure their white Husky Mom will have an all 'white' Husky pup. Breeders may have many white Husky pups but only a few will be all white.
Looking at your photos; it appears she has a black nose.
Does your baby bark or howl?

Husky: very important facts to help identify a Husky:
"The real test is whether the puppy's nose is black as only a pure white Husky can have a black nose.

An Isabella White Husky will never possess any black pigmentation; instead, it's common to see their nose, gums, and eyelids in a light brown or liver color."

This breed tends to howl (rarely barks) to communicate with others and howls when bored."

Normal average weight at 9 months: female - 33-46 pounds

Your vet can give you their opinion and it will probably be that she looks and could be full bred Husky.
But AKC states that vets can usually tell less than 25% of the time if a dog is full bred and more than 90% of that is guessing.
However, the most important thing you can do your pup is to be very sure she has ALL of her first year shots/vaccinations.

A DNA test can be important as it provides a lot of information about future health issues to look out for as well as breed information. DNA test are getting expensive as owners genuinely want to know more about their dogs. Tests can be purchased online, pet stores and her vet; costs generally start at $65 and up.
