This is our wildlife garden. The bushes, pond, and pond plants all provide habitats for many wild creatures such as insects, birds, and frogs. Bug boxes are located in various places for insects to overwinter. Some of the grass is also left uncut to create cover for small creatures to hide in. The gate, fencing, bug boxes, and bird feeder are all recycled from stuff we would have thrown out, such as old crockery, a bedstead, a drainpipe, a chipped plant pot, and chimney cowl. It is a lovely peaceful haven.
