Window Blind Color Advice?

May 31, 2017

We have light grey colour walls and an ocean real colour sectional sofa for our new house. Our kitchen counter top is black and kitchen cabinets are off white and our flooring is a dark colour.

I am really confused which colour blinds we should choose that will look best with these colours.

Most people really don't want their window/s to stand out from the rest of their decor, but to add to it. I'd suggest going with white or off-white with the colors that you already have contrasting in your room. Add color with a frame or decorative shelf painted in the color category of your sofa if you need.

I am looking for blinds for my new house. The wall color is light grey. I don't want to go with white or cream. Are there any trendy colors I can go with? Does light green match grey walls?

Just about anything matches grey walls. However, if you go with a trendy colour, such as green, this will limit what you can do in the future for a change or update. Blinds are expensive in relation to paint -- unless you have very small windows to cover. I would go with white or grey, myself.

Most blinds are not that attractive that you would want to call attention to them. And if you are going to cover them with drapes or curtains, or keep them folded up except when you want to darken the room, I'd just go with a neutral.

I just moved into a new apartment. My wall is painted green, the ceiling is lemon and off white, and the floor tiles are green. My chair is burnt orange and black. Please, what colour can I use for the window blind?

If you are unable to paint any of these areas....which would be my first choice...I'd paint everything off white and go from there...but if that isnt allowed or if u dont want to do that...then I'd try to find a fabric with small print that incorporates all these colors as much as possible...I think that should be fairly easy...greens, yellows..burnt oranges...these colors are often seen together in fabric prints...so look for that...and buy enough to make curtains or a valance and maybe a few throw pillows...Id also try to find some prints or art work with these colors...that way you can pull it all together...actually might be cute and certainly unique...if you are going to used blinds..I think Id go with natural burlap or linen color and then do a valance with the print you find...the print would hopefully have some brown so that the linen or burlap colored blind would also be pulled into the colors....that will be key..finding a print that has most or all of these colors and using it in the room in various ways..good luck..maybe you will post some pictures of your room after you work your magic..:)
