Wood Craft Magnetic Sticks - different color sticks on fridgeMy toddler enjoys being nearby when I'm in the kitchen. She likes to play with some magnets that we have on our fridge. I thought it would be fun to make assorted wooden craft stick magnets.

This a very simple and easy project to make with just 3 items and a pair of scissors. You may even already have these items at home, or if not you can find them inexpensively at your local Dollar Tree or 99 Cents Store.

*For my magnet strips, I reused from scrap pieces I had*

Total Time: 10-15 minutes, time varies depending on how many you make

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Prep magnetic strips and cut smaller than craft sticks.
  2. Wood Craft Magnetic Sticks - cut magnets

  3. Use any adhesive of your choice, but I used glue spots. I cut them in half, then stuck the magnet piece on the glue spot.
  4. Wood Craft Magnetic Sticks - use glue dots or adhesive or your choice

  5. Then peel off and stick the magnet onto the craft stick. I applied two magnets per wooden stick.
