My finch laid eggs and was sitting on them and then they stop sitting on them. I don't know why or what I should do.

Please do not worry for this. Birds can sit on the nest to lay another egg in the nest and then leave the eggs alone. This can take several days to lay all the eggs in the nest before the birds will take care of the eggs and sit on them until they hatch.
They are birds let nature take it's course . They usually take care of there own!
