As a high end furniture manufacturer, we're looking to start another division of our business that is to - the - trade only, which means selling only to high end interior designers, interior design firms, interior design centers, etc. I am looking for ideas on a name for this company. We will be manufacturing made to order dining, bedroom, occasional, and custom items for both the residential and commercial high end design markets.
If you've already developed a reputation in the high-end market, Roy, why not capitalize on the name recognition and simply add another word or two? If, for instance, your current company is Vilas, why not use something like Custom Design Vilas.

Although I agree it can be great fun coming up with cute business names, why not stick with something simple so people who want what you're offering can easily find you?

Wow... sounds like you have multiple businesses. That may cause some confusion when marketing. I would concentrate on your strongest interests (interior design OR baking..etc) and not try to be everything to everyone otherwise you may have a weak response to your business. What is your area of expertise?

My best friend and I want to start a home-based business. After reading answers to some of the other questions, I can see there's a lot of talented people willing to help with the name/slogan. One theme we considered was around "the next chapter" as we both recently retired. Another was "souls sisters". All of our lines will be handmade (sewing, needles and thread).
We will launch with elegant accessories for women. Then we'll add an athletic line, a kitchen line, a pet line, and a camping line. You know the old saying "organized chaos"? Well, why not flip that and make it "Chaos Organized"! Most people would agree that when you aren't organized, things feel chaotic. You don't know where to start so you just done start at all.
Another might be "Jump Start Organizing".

No matter what you'll need a catchy company motto but you could simply use 'MJ Public Relations' or 'NYC Public Relations'. I am not sure what you mean by 'company name.com'. That, .com, is a separate issue.
