We are building a house and I picked out maple cabinets with a cherry glaze (looks cherry). I love natural maple hardwood. Will it look OK to put these together. What color paint should I use? The granite is light beige with flecks and swirls of gold, red, and green. the room is open to the parlor which has a white fireplace. Paint color has to be same as kitchen I would like to do maple natural throughout. Thank you.

I have a sleek white and marine blue kitchen. The walls are marine blue, floor to ceiling gloss white cabinets, medium brown cork floor, dark grey-black counters, and stainless appliances, and black appliances. The living room and dining rooms are seen from the kitchen and vice versa. I need color that complements the marine blue for these rooms. Ideas? They've been grey. The living room has black leather couches with red pillows/throws for accent color.

I have a kitchen and living room adjoining wall. The walls in the living room are Delicious Melon from Behr and the kitchen is a very light shade of orange almost a vanilla. I hate it. My focal wall is medium turquoise in the living room and the cabinet doors are a light turquoise. I want to change the color on the kitchen walls and the cabinets and I do not want white cabinets. What would be good choices? Please no beige or brown. I like color.

Will it look good if I paint the doors in my kitchen white and stain the doors in the family room dark? The two rooms flow into each other.

I'm looking for a paint color for my family room and kitchen. We have a medium to dark hardwood floor in the family room and the rest of the floor in the house is light green tiles. My cabinet color in the kitchen is light maple. Can someone advise a good wall paint color combination for the family room and kitchen? Do you advise to have one color in both family room and kitchen room or two different colors? I appreciate any help. Thanks.
