I am a widow without a lot income; I am receiving Social Security Survivor benefits. I need to get some help to fix my pipes connected to my plumbing.
There are several government agencies that may be able to help you but, be aware, these agencies take time to process and approve any application. Habitat for Humanity may be able to help and may also be faster in getting it approved.
You may be able to get help through your local church or maybe one of your local companies (you may have to call around and see what is available).
Here are a couple of links to get you started.

I would go to HUD.org and look at resources for your state. Habitat for Humanity and local churches can help, too.
I am a senior and disabled. I live in a trailer and all my pipes have frozen up. I need all new pipes and someone to put them in. I have called different places, but have found no one to help.
I have no money. Do you know someone to help? I have been looking for another place to live, but no luck with it.In my town it is hard to find help for folks in trailers, but don't let that stop you from asking!
I am so sorry to hear of your troubles. I have a few suggestions...which are:
1. Do you belong to a religious organization (church, synagogue, mosque etc.)? Some have discretionary funds that are used to help parishioners in need. It is all very private and no one needs to know.
2. Since you have a computer and are posting here, have you considered setting up a Go Fund Me or like crowd sourcing pages?
They are fairly easy to do, you tell your story and ask for help. I know from first hand experience they work if you work to get the message out there.
3. Do you have a community college in your town that offers plumbing classes? If so, call there and see if they offer a program where the students to the work if you pay the materials. Just be sure to understand exactly how it works and if you have any recourse if they do a bad job...they are students and it probably won't be perfect...although ideally it could be.
4. If you have a health condition...like if you have MS, or asthma, or a heart condition...contact the national organization for your situation and see if they can offer help.
Since you say you are a senior, For seniors, I know there is an Area Agency on Aging in my state that helps people... I have no personal experience with this, but read not long ago about how this worked for someone.
Good luck with your search! I will send up positive thoughts that you find a good solution!
Call social services, HUD.org, local churches, and your local news station. The station may want to do a human interest story and many people can help you once they see the story

I am a senior citizen living on Social Security only. I believe a pipe under my house has broken and the kitchen sink won't drain. A power snake would not open up the drain and came in contact with regular dirt. My house is built on a cement slab and the cement will have to be busted to do repairs, costing thousands of dollars. Where can I get help?

Try Habitat for Humanity
The PVC pipe bringing hot water into the house is leaking. Can I get help replacing it?
Try Habitat for Humanity, social services, and churches.
I purchased a house last July. The house right next door is recently vacant. When the water department turned off their water it turned off ours. We had the water turned back on, but now we have to pay to have a separate water line put in on our property. Is there any type of financial assistance to help with this it's $2,000?
Please help.
Usually private homes have two separate water lines. I am curious as to why two houses share the line. Were they once on the same property? I would call the water company and town and ask.
My mom lives in a mobile home. She is 78 years old. My sister and I live with her also. We are 53 & 52 yrs old. I do all her doctor appts. My sister helps her also. My question is, the pipes are so old that we get one fixed and then another leaks and so on. We were told we probably need to replace the entire plumbing underneath this place. People say get a hold of Action of Long Beach (Luke Heap). Can anyone recommend them or maybe Habitat for Humanity. I hope to hear from u soon!
Thank you.
In addition to the above resources, try HUD.org and Council on the Aging.
Are there any charitable companies or organizations that would assist us with a sink and toilet backup? We live in the Laurel Maryland area. My sister and I are on limited incomes due to cancer treatments.
She with multiple myeloma and I with breast cancer. I have been working on it for over two weeks. It's in the basement where my sleeping quarters are. I could really use the help. Sincerest regards.I would contact HUD.org, Habitat for Humanity or a local church.
I was told there is a sewer lateral defect in my underground plumbing outside of my house that I'm responsible for. I don't have any money. I have tried the H.E.L.P program but was told that I am not eligible. My water has been turned off, because the defect was not fixed. I am a single mother who has been assisting my aunt who passed away in October from cervical cancer. I am just trying to get everthing back together at my house and now this. I really need help.

Lateral sewer lines are the homeowners responsibility. You could try going to HUD.org, and clicking on your state.
I am on disability and for a week I have no drainage in my home. I can't effort any plumber.
How can I get some help? It's an emergency! Where can I look?

Are you on a septic? If so, maybe it needs to be pumped out. Or, if you have trees, perhaps you have tree roots in your line. In that case, there is a product you can put into your drains that kills the roots and opens the lines back up.
