Stiff nylon netting scraps make great scrubbers for dishes, car bumpers/windows, bathroom porcelain, and removing paint with stripper. Their holes catch raised food/dirt/paint and remove it.

Nylon net is perfectly paired with baking soda as an abrasive, as both will not leave scratches on surfaces you're cleaning.
