Wrapping Paper Ornaments - supplies

Steps:

  1. Trace around a circular object on thin cardboard paper (I used recycled). Cut out. Make as many you would like.
  2. Wrapping Paper Ornaments - sheet of cardboard, pen, and a ribbon spool template

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - trace circles

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - six circles

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - cut them out

  3. Clip toy photos from the magazine. Glue onto the circle which will be the "ornament" and trim excess.
  4. Wrapping Paper Ornaments - clip out a toy photo

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - glue to the cardboard circle

    Wrapping Paper Ornaments - trim

  5. An example of how to make another ornament is to clip lots of toy photos into small pieces to create a collage. Glue the pieces to a cardboard circle overlapping as you go. Cover the cardboard circle and trim off the excess.
  6. Wrapping Paper Ornaments - clip small toy photos

    Wrapping Paper Ornaments - trim

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - glue the pieces down overlapping

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - continue adding toy photos

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - cover the cardboard circle, trim off the excess

  8. Wrapping Paper Ornaments - make as many as you like

  9. Wrap gift. I recycled and wrapped the gift with a Sprouts brown lunch bag that was used when I bought wine.
  10. Wrapping Paper Ornaments - brown grocery bag

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - wrap gift in the brown paper

  11. Using a piece of foil, cut out a trapezoid shaped piece to attach to the ornaments.
  12. Wrapping Paper Ornaments - ornaments and piece of foil

Wrapping Paper Ornaments - cut trapezoids from the foil

  13. Glue paper ornaments down to present and then add the foil piece. For finishing touches use ribbon sticker and bow for complete ornament!
  14. Wrapping Paper Ornaments - glue down the ornaments and then add the foil piece
