Permanent Marker on Vinyl Couch
I have permanent marker on my tan, vinyl couch. I have tried everything under the sun to remove this artwork.I have tried Oops, goofoff, WD-40, magic eraser, 409, Soft Scrub, OxyClean, Lava Soap and rubbing alcohol.

Getting Hop Smell Out Of Clothes
My husband recently started work at a Hop Extract plant and the smell is unbearable. I was wondering if there are any tricks to getting that smell out of clothing? I haven't tried vinegar yet, but have heard that may help. I am afraid that my clothes are going to smell like hops if I wash mine after his. Any solutions? Thanks, Jo from Washington State
Peanut Butter Stains
I am trying how to get "natural" peanut butter stains out of white clothes. I keep reading how to use peanut butter to remove other stains, but I assume this is hydrogenated peanut butter. The natural peanut butter is not removed by anything I have tried. R. Lasher

Removing Shoe Polish Stain from Rose Coloured Carpet
My daughter is in Sea Cadets and even after telling her umpteen times not to polish her boots in the living room, she did. Now, I have a huge black shoe polish stain on my carpet. I hadn't noticed it until today and am not sure how long it has been there. Any ideas on how to get it out? The carpet is new and I'd really hate to have to have it replaced. Thanks for your ideas. Breaker Question - 20 Amp Breaker, 14 wire
I recently purchased a house, and it is clear that the previous owner had not always done things correctly. My present concern is that there seems to be 14 gauge wire running off a 20 AMP breaker.

Grip Clips for Chips

Start from Scratch!
My mother-in-law gave me this tip when my husband and I first got married and moved into our first home. I tried it and it's true, and it's also healthier and earth friendly.
Hash Brown Bake
Mix all ingredients together and put into 9x12 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45-60 minutes.
Add butter to potatoes and mash. Beat cream cheese and sour cream together and then add to potatoes. Beat until light and fluffy. Add the chives if desired. Spoon into a 2 qt. casserole and brush with soft butter and sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Deluxe Scalloped Potatoes
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Put in an 8x8 inch greased baking dish. Heat margarine and cream of mushroom soup. Add potatoes, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper. Top with green onions and bake. Can be frozen ahead. Wrap and freeze. Do not put on onions before freezing.
