Save Canned Fruit Syrup for Sweetening Iced Tea
If you enjoy canned fruit, buy it in heavy syrup. Save on sugar and use the syrup instead to sweeten and flavor your iced tea.
Take a tube of any biscuits, 4 for a dollar, at your grocery store. Cut each biscuit in half. Heat oil in pan or fryer and fry in oil. Turn them as soon as they get brown on one side. Fry the other side and drain on paper towels. I set small bowls with granulated sugar, powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar in three separate bowls. Roll doughnuts in what you like and walla! The kids love these, quick and easy. ENJOY!
Quick Burger Casserole
Brown 1 or 2 pounds of hamburger meat with 1 small to medium onion, chopped. Drain off excess grease. Return meat to pan on low heat. Add 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of corn (drained).

Ask City Parks For Seeds

When I'm done with the larger bottles I take a pair of old scissors and cut the top 1/3 off. What I'm left with is a bottom part that I use as a vase or a planter to start cuttings or seeds, and the top half is just the right size and shape to use as a funnel to add oil or tranny fluid to your car.
Grandpa's Hot Cakes
Blend buttermilk, egg yolks, and margarine in bowl. Sift dry ingredients except sugar slowly into milk mixture, mixing well. Beat egg whites, adding sugar slowly, until stiff. Fold gently into batter.

Bags for Goodwill or Salvation Army Donations
I keep a plastic bag on the back of my closet door. Whenever I see an item in the closet that does not fit or that I will not be wearing any more, I put it in the bag. When the bag fills up, I drop it off at Goodwill or Salvation Army. This is an easy way to clean out as you go. Remember, if you do this get a receipt. All donations are tax deductible.
