Celery SaladWash celery, trim, and slice thin. Blanch celery in 1 cup water until crisp; drain and rinse with cold water. Pour vinegar, cream, salt and pepper to taste over rinsed celery. Chill and serve.
Fresh Berry CobblerCombine 1/3 cup sugar and 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch in a small bowl. Combine berries, cornstarch mixture, and lemon rind in a large bowl until well blended; spoon berry mixture into a lightly greased 2-qt. baking dish.

Swiss Steak-Cabbage DinnerCombine flour, salt, paprika, mustard and pepper. Cost steak well on all sides with flour mixture. Heat oil in large skillet. Brown steak well on both sides. Pour off excess drippings if necessary. Add bouillon and onions to meat.
Curried MornayAdd all ingredients in large pan or slow cooker. Cook on low heat stirring occasionally so it does not catch on the bottom. Cooked when rice is soft. Serve with bread or mash.
Huntington ChickenMix all together. Put in greased baking dish. Top with corn flakes. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
Fresh Grape SalsaIn medium bowl, combine grapes, onion, cilantro, jalapeno and lime juice. Cover and chill at least 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with grilled chicken, fish or pork if desired.
Refrigerator CasseroleCook noodles in salted water until tender. Drain and mix in soup and water. In large skillet, fry onion in butter until clear. Remove onion and cook meat in skillet, stirring to break up particles.
Yam-Apple BakePeel and cook yams until tender. In a saucepan, combine rest of ingredients. Bring just to a boil. Pour over yams in a baking dish. Bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees F.
Fresh Spaghetti SaladCombine all ingredients in large bowl; mix well. Refrigerate. This is best if made one day prior to serving.

Chicken Alfredo?This recipe is not 'gourmet' but it's quick, easy and tasty. I have made it for about four decades. I use boxed PastaRoni (RiceaRoni sibling) but instead of following the boxed directions, I heat 1/2 cup milk and 3 tbls butter (no water because not using the water gives a far more tasty flavor and thicker sauce) in a saucepan while the pasta is cooking.
