Pillow Cases from Sheets
If you browse thrift stores as frequently as I do, you will find some very nice sheets. I am always searching for nice tricot or satin sheets to make pillow cases out of.
Craft: "When Love Meets" Picture
In this picture I made, the background is covered in moons and stars with Kenny Chesney on the bottom and a purple/pink flower I designed with Paint Shop Pro. I added a swing from our yard to this great picture.
Use Stray Earrings As Charms
The fashion now in jewelry is to have multiple charms on a pendant. So, I used a stray silver earring with what looks like a turquoise head to bend the wire and put on a tiny silver medal that I had been given.
This is one of my husband's favorites.
Chicken Salad Pie
Yummy dish any time. Seems that kids really like this. Most of us are always looking for a way to get vegetables in our kids, and this is a great way to get a couple veggies in them, in my opinion.

Cooking Stems of Broccoli and Hearts of Cabbage
When you are cooking broccoli, trim and peel if necessary the broccoli stems, then cut them, and add them to your boiling water. Allow them to cook until they are almost fork tender before adding the florets.
In Memory of Stryker (Wolf/Husky)
Stryker was a 7 year old Wolf/Husky. My daughter needed a soul mate, and in AZ, came this glorious wolf/dog who understood her. He was there before her marriage, children, and she understood him just as well.
Sapphire is a 9 year old cat that we inherited from my husband's brother. They could no longer take care of her. She is the sweetest, and friendliest thing. She loves to be rubbed, and to sit on your lap.
Wheat Grass for Cats
I picked up a couple of containers of wheat grass sprouts in the produce section for my indoor cats, for less than two dollars each. I placed one container in a bigger bowl when I got home and put some gravel/stones in it to keep it stable.

Something is Sleeping Among My Garlic Plants
I have a question for gardeners, please. What could be bedding down in the middle of my tall garlic plants? They bend my beautiful garlic plants all the way over. The spot is pressed down into about a 1 1/2 foot circle. It is about the size of a coon or a cat or dog.

What is Living Down the Hole in My Garden?
I live within the city limits in White Plains, NY. Last year I spent the summer clearing out my small back yard of heavy ivy growth. I later noted a 2 inch hole in the ground which I cautiously covered with soil. That hole reemerged and from what I can see it is very, very deep.

I have a dog and fleas live on him. Can fleas live in a person's hair? If so how do you get rid of them?
Breaker Keeps Tripping
I have girls and they keep tripping the 20 amp breaker. I made sure there is 12 gauge wire and there are only two receptacles on this circuit. But when the girls plug in both hair dryers and curling irons it blows the breaker. Will I have to run a dedicated line for each receptacle?
