Water to Attract Night Flying InsectsI burn a back porch light all night, every night. During the summer months, the light attracts hoards of flying insects. Even after shooing, waving, and scattering the swarm, it's difficult to get into the house without at least a few getting in with me.

Repairing Sewing Machine Presser Foot Shaft?I have a Husqvarna Rose 600. The needle is in line with the stitch plate, but the presser foot is off by 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch. I believe I have a shaft problem. I possibly moved it by accidentally hitting a pin. When the needle comes down, it is not in line with center of the foot.

Power Went Out in One Room?Last night I was building a tent in the living room for my kids to camp out in for fun. I went into the master bedroom to blow up an air mattress. Mower Won't Start?My 18 hp Briggs turns slowly and won't crank. It has a new battery, starter, and solenoid. It has low voltage on the cable at the starter when turning the key to start. However when the cable is unhooked from the starter and I'm turning the key the voltage is good.

 

Lights Dim Shortly After Being Turned On?I recently purchased a home and it looks like the basement was finished by the owner after it was built. In the basement only, not upstairs, the lights and lamps start at regular brightness when turned on, then dim down to about 1/2 about a minute later, without other loads being turned on.
