Reusing Cereal Liners in the KitchenThe wax bags that line a cereal box can be reused to keep food fresh, or even as mini trash bags. They make excellent freezer bags.
Recycling Worn Out ClothingYou can use old worn out clothing for rags once the buttons and zippers are removed. You may have a craft use for some of the undamaged fabric pieces.
Use Tacky Glue for Ribbons on Craft CardsTacky glue is such a good glue for twine and yarn ribbons. I love to create collages with all my beautiful scraps! I bought this handy-sized bottle at the Dollar Tree, for $1.00. For other projects I use regular glue and glue sticks.

Sweetie Pie (Domestic Shorthair)I adopted him from the SPCA a year ago. He always sits in what I would call a very unusual position.
How to Deter Swallows from Nesting in Your EavesI had a bunch of swallows trying to nest in a heat wave. I removed the mud during their construction, but it did not deter them from trying to build. I washed down the soffits and removed all trace of the mud they had put there, but they kept on trying to come back. The soffit is thirty feet from the ground so I taped an Old Spice stick deodorant to the end of my extension pole and applied a coat of deodorant to the window ledges and soffits. In less than two minutes the swallows were gone. Not sure how long it will last, but it sure worked well. All for the price of a stick deodorant. The only downside is the smell of Old Spice on my deck now, but it is better than the mess the birds were creating.
Light Bulb Wattage NoteI purchased a new home that was (sort of) a model. As expected, the builder and contractors used medium-priced light fixtures and low-wattage bulbs. I replaced all the curly CFIs with a yellowish-cast with bright white LEDs. The enclosed ceiling fixtures were somewhat of a challenge; new bulbs had to fit inside as well as not create too much heat.
Value of an Antique 3 Tier TableI recently found this 3 tier pie/cake display side table and wondering what the value is?
Identifying a Porcelain DollI have this doll, but it doesn't have any markings. Do you know the maker and approximate value of her?
Value of Porcelain DollsI have a couple of dolls and I'm not sure how much they are worth. The pair of dolls did not have any company logo or anything like that on them so I could not trace them. And the other doll, I could not find either. It is a Collectible Memories doll. I'm just curious on their value.
Name Ideas for an On-line Handmade Jewelry StoreI design elaborate jewelry with semi-precious gemstones and stainless steel for men and women. They are good quality and I would like that the store have my son's name (Russell Steve).
Getting Pine Trees Removed from Your PropertyWe are in the hurricane season here in the southern part of Georgia and have 40 pine trees that need to be removed from our property. To have these cut down will cost a fortune. Do you have any suggestion on how these can get cut down at no cost to us? Or even make a small profit from having them cut down?
Identifying a Porcelain DollI received this doll as a gift a while ago and I don't have any information about her. She is very beautiful and I would love to learn more about her.
Value of a Mersman TableI have a Mersman table that my neighbor gave me. I want to know how much you think it's worth if I varnish.
14th Birthday Party Ideas for GirlsI'm turning 14 in July, but I don't know what to do. My mom mentioned a sleepover. She was thinking a unicorn theme or a Hawaiian theme, but I'm not sure what theme because I don't want it to be kiddy. We live near Stone Mountain so she said we could drive there and go canoeing and things. Does anyone have any tips or alternative ideas?
Identifying a Porcelain DollI found her in a charity shop. She is glazed porcelain. There are no markings on her neck. The clothes appear to have Velcro (idk if that helps).
Value of an Antique Mahogany TableCan anyone tell me the approximate age and value of this table? I don't think it's a tea cart, more like a side table?
Value of a Musical Porcelain DollI received this doll from a neighbor who dealt in antiques. I don't know much about it and I couldn't find it on the internet. It is on a stand and has a key in the back to turn that plays music. The pink dress has a stain and is faded as well. I am curious what it is worth as well as any information about it such as time period.
